Site Description Zona Sur

Zona Sur, also known as Southern Delta, is a remote and pristine diving destination located in southern Venezuela. It is home to some of the most diverse and well-preserved coral reefs in the Caribbean, as well as an abundance of marine life. The area is also known for its shipwrecks, caves, and underwater caverns. Divers can expect to see a wide variety of marine life in Zona Sur, including: Coral reefs: The reefs in Zona Sur are home to a wide variety of hard and soft corals, as well as fish, invertebrates, and algae. Sharks: Several species of sharks can be found in Zona Sur, including hammerhead sharks, bull sharks, and tiger sharks. Rays: Rays are also common in Zona Sur, including manta rays, eagle rays, and stingrays. Sea turtles: Sea turtles are a frequent sight in Zona Sur, including green sea turtles, hawksbill sea turtles, and loggerhead sea turtles. Dolphins: Dolphins are often seen in the waters off Zona Sur, and there is even a chance to swim with them.
