Site Description Sheri-Lynn

The Sheri-Lynn is a 235-foot freighter that was sunk in 1987 to create an artificial reef. It is located approximately 3 miles off the coast of Miami Beach, in 95 feet of water. The wreck is home to a variety of marine life, including fish, coral, and sponges. It is a popular dive site for both experienced divers and beginners. Divers can expect to see a variety of marine life at the Sheri-Lynn, including: Fish: angelfish, butterflyfish, damselfish, grouper, snapper, and more Coral: brain coral, fire coral, staghorn coral, and more Sponges: barrel sponges, elephant ear sponges, and more Other: lobster, shrimp, crabs, turtles, and even sharks
