Site Description Punta Mismaloya

Punta Mismaloya is a small bay with a rocky shoreline and a sandy bottom. The water is typically clear and visibility can reach up to 100 feet. The site is home to a variety of marine life, including tropical fish, sea turtles, rays, and sharks. There are also several coral reefs in the area. Marine life: Some of the marine life that you can see at Punta Mismaloya include: Tropical fish: angelfish, butterflyfish, clownfish, parrotfish, tangs, and more Sea turtles: green sea turtles, hawksbill sea turtles, and loggerhead sea turtles Rays: manta rays, eagle rays, and stingrays Sharks: nurse sharks, whitetip reef sharks, and blacktip reef sharks Other: moray eels, seahorses, and nudibranchs
