Site Description Paso del Cedral

Paso del Cedral is a popular drift diving site located off the western coast of Cozumel. It is known for its beautiful coral formations, diverse marine life, and swim-throughs. The dive starts on a flat area covered with finger coral and then heads north over a sandy area with impressive coral structures. Divers can expect to see a variety of fish, including angelfish, butterflyfish, parrotfish, and wrasses. Sea turtles, barracudas, and even nurse sharks are also sometimes spotted here.
