Site Description Palancar Horseshoe

Palancar Horseshoe is a world-famous dive site located on the southwest side of Cozumel, Mexico. It is part of the larger Palancar Reef system, and is known for its stunning coral formations, diverse marine life, and clear visibility. The site gets its name from its distinctive horseshoe-shaped reef, which can be seen from the surface. Palancar Horseshoe is home to an incredible variety of marine life, including: Tropical fish: Angelfish, butterflyfish, parrotfish, tangs, damselfish, and more Reef sharks: Nurse sharks, blacktip reef sharks, and Caribbean reef sharks Sea turtles: Green sea turtles and hawksbill sea turtles Rays: Eagle rays, stingrays, and manta rays Moray eels Lobsters Nudibranchs Sponges Corals
