Keary Reef is a large reef located off the coast of Sudan in the Red Sea. It is a popular diving destination known for its clear waters, abundant marine life, and dramatic walls.
The reef is about 3.7 nautical miles (7 km) southwest of Sanganeb Lighthouse and is roughly triangular in shape. The reef drops from a depth of around 25 meters to over 120 meters.
Keary Reef is home to a wide variety of marine life, including sharks, turtles, dolphins, and rays. Divers can also see a variety of fish, including clownfish, angelfish, and butterflyfish.
