Howard Park Cave is a submerged sinkhole and cave system located just offshore of Fred Howard Park in Pasco County, Florida. The sinkhole is about 200 yards north of the second bridge on the causeway to the beach. The cave entrance is a hole in the bottom of the sinkhole that is about 30 feet in diameter. The cave system is about 2 miles long and has a maximum depth of 65 feet.
The cave is home to a variety of marine life, including fish, shrimp, crabs, and lobsters. The water temperature in the cave is usually in the mid-70s to low 80s Fahrenheit.
