Hindi Gidir is a pinnacle reef located off the coast of Sudan in the Red Sea. It is a popular diving destination known for its clear waters, abundant marine life, and dramatic walls.
The reef is about 3.5 nautical miles (6.5 km) north of Sanganeb Lighthouse and consists of two pinnacles rising from the seabed at a depth of over 400 meters. The larger of the two pinnacles has a flat top at a depth of 28 meters, while the smaller pinnacle has a top at 35 meters. The reef walls are covered in soft corals and sponges, and there are many overhangs and caves to explore.
