Gran Cenote is one of the most popular cenotes in Mexico, and for good reason. It is a large, cavernous cenote with clear water and plenty of aquatic life to see. The cenote is made up of two main caverns, connected by a tunnel. The larger cavern is about 30 meters in diameter and has a maximum depth of 13 meters. The smaller cavern is about 20 meters in diameter and has a maximum depth of 8 meters.
Gran Cenote is home to a variety of marine life, including turtles, fish, and shrimp. The cenote is also home to a number of different types of plants, including algae, ferns, and mosses.
