Site Description El Oasis

El Oasis is a dive site located off the coast of Providencia Island, Colombia. It is a large coral reef that is home to a variety of marine life, including sharks, rays, turtles, fish, and invertebrates. The reef is located in deep water, with an average depth of 70 meters (230 feet). Visibility at the site is excellent, with an average of 30 meters (100 feet) or more. The currents at El Oasis are mild, making it a good site for divers of all experience levels. El Oasis is home to a wide variety of marine life, including: Sharks:Hammerhead sharks, bull sharks, and reef sharks are all common at El Oasis. Rays:Eagle rays, stingrays, and manta rays can all be seen at El Oasis. Turtles:Green sea turtles and hawksbill sea turtles are both common at El Oasis. Fish:There are hundreds of different species of fish that can be seen at El Oasis, including angelfish, butterflyfish, clownfish, and parrotfish. Invertebrates:There are also a variety of invertebrates at El Oasis, including shrimp, crabs, lobsters, and nudibranchs.
