Site Description El morro

El Morro is a small rock located 26 miles (42 km) southwest of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. It is a popular dive site for experienced divers due to its dramatic rock formations, caves, tunnels, and abundant marine life. The rock formation consists of five pinnacles that rise from the ocean floor to a depth of 130 feet (40 m). The largest pinnacle, known as El Morro Grande, is home to a swim-through cave that is popular among divers. El Morro is home to a wide variety of marine life, including manta rays, sea turtles, dolphins, sharks, and eels. The site is also known for its large schools of fish, such as tuna, jacks, and barracuda.
