El Choyudo is a rocky reef that extends from the shoreline to a depth of about 60 feet. The reef is home to a variety of marine life, including fish, invertebrates, and sea turtles. Some of the most common fish seen at El Choyudo include angelfish, butterflyfish, damselfish, and groupers. Invertebrates such as octopus, lobster, and shrimp are also abundant. Sea turtles are occasionally seen at El Choyudo, especially during the summer months.
