Site Description Boca do Boqueirao

Boca do Boqueirao is a small inlet located on the northern coast of Ilha Grande, an island off the coast of Angra dos Reis, Brazil. It is a popular spot for scuba diving and snorkeling, with clear water and an abundance of marine life. The site is known for its colorful coral reefs, schools of tropical fish, and occasional sightings of larger marine animals such as sea turtles, dolphins, and even sharks. The coral reefs at Boca do Boqueirao are home to a wide variety of marine life, including: Tropical fish: Angelfish, butterflyfish, damselfish, parrotfish, and more. Invertebrates: Shrimps, crabs, lobsters, starfish, sea urchins, and more. Larger marine animals: Sea turtles, dolphins, rays, sharks, and even the occasional whale shark.
