Site Description Bajo de Chuao

Bajo de Chuao, also known as “The Horseshoe,” is a world-renowned scuba diving site located approximately 60 miles north of Isla Margarita, Venezuela. This underwater paradise is famous for its abundant marine life, crystal-clear waters, and diverse coral formations. Divers at Bajo de Chuao are treated to an incredible array of marine life, Sharks: Hammerhead sharks, bull sharks, and even whale sharks have been spotted in the area. Rays: Manta rays, eagle rays, and stingrays are all common sights. Turtles: Green sea turtles and hawksbill sea turtles are frequently encountered. Fish: Divers can expect to see a dazzling array of tropical fish, including angelfish, butterflyfish, parrotfish, and damselfish. Other marine creatures: Dolphins, moray eels, seahorses, and octopus are just a few of the other fascinating creatures that divers may encounter.
