Bajo de Cañaveral, also known as El Cañafistol, is a submerged bank located approximately 12 nautical miles off the coast of Falcón State, Venezuela. It is considered one of the best scuba diving destinations in the Caribbean Sea, renowned for its diverse marine life, pristine coral reefs, and clear waters. The site encompasses an area of approximately 4 square kilometers (1.5 sq mi) and features a variety of underwater formations, including walls, pinnacles, and caves.
