Angarosh Reef is a large reef located off the coast of Sudan in the Red Sea. It is a popular diving destination known for its clear waters, abundant marine life, and dramatic walls.
The reef is about 37 kilometers northeast of Port Sudan and is roughly oval in shape, measuring approximately 5.5 kilometers long and 3 kilometers wide. The reef’s lagoon is about 18 meters deep, while the walls drop to over 100 meters.
