Cayo Medio, located off the coast of Venezuela, is an uninhabited island that is a haven for divers and snorkelers. The island is surrounded by clear turquoise waters and vibrant coral reefs, making it a great place to see a variety of marine life. Cayo Medio is home to a wide variety of marine life, including: Tropical fish: Angelfish, butterflyfish, parrotfish, and more Sea turtles: Green sea turtles and hawksbill sea turtles Sharks: Nurse sharks, reef sharks, and even occasional whale sharks Rays: Eagle rays, stingrays, and manta rays Corals: Hard corals, soft corals, and gorgonian fans
