Site Description Cayo Sur

Cayo Sur, also known as Cayo Blanco, is an uninhabited island located in the Morrocoy National Park off the coast of Venezuela. It is known for its pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and abundant marine life, making it a popular destination for scuba diving and snorkeling. Cayo Sur is home to a wide variety of marine life, including: Tropical fish: Angelfish, butterflyfish, parrotfish, tangs, and more. Sea turtles: Green sea turtles, hawksbill sea turtles, and loggerhead sea turtles. Rays: Stingrays, eagle rays, and manta rays. Sharks: Nurse sharks, reef sharks, and even the occasional whale shark. Dolphins: Dolphins are often spotted swimming in the waters around Cayo Sur.
