Abou Fandera is a large reef located off the coast of Sudan in the Red Sea. It is a popular diving destination known for its clear waters, abundant marine life, and dramatic walls. The reef is about 40 kilometers north of Port Sudan and is about 2 kilometers long and 1 kilometer wide. The reef wall is vertical and drops to a depth of over 40 meters.
